How do I iron on an embroidered patch?

Any special things I need to do to it?

1. use bondaweb (it's iron on but you have to read the instructions to be sure to iron it on the right side!) and then blanket stitch around the edge of the patch Check out wikihow and ehow too, there might be some more advice there
2. It is better and stays longer if you sew around the patch edges instead of ironing it on. It starts peeling off after a few washes, if just ironed on. I also stitch around the edges of iron on patches for a better hold.
