How do you use a software patch from a download?

When I click on the application file a popup opens with the option for me to PATCH or RESTORE and I have to find e4.exe, but all that's in my folder is the application file and the readme below: 1) put the patch into the program directory. 2) lauch the patch and click "patch". 3) select e4.exe ... 4) program now will run. Does anybody know what I need to do to get this to work? Please help!!

1. What is the application ? Go the application's Home page/Website and download the latest version. It will be installed in the same folder C:/Program Files/ XXXX You can confirm by noting the dates in the files or version number. .
2. From what you've just described, it's clear that the download wasn't a complete one. Please download the whole package and reinstall. Take care to delete the old one first. All the best. Cheers
