How can I make an eyepatch for halloween?

So I need to make an eyepatch for Halloween (I'm going as a pirate). Anyone know how?

1. cut out a patch of felt (it's about 25 cents at the fabric store) and glue it to some ribbon or elastic. add some sparklies or whatever too! but really, it'd prob be way cheap to just buy one from party city or something.
